About Vincenza
I am an administrative employee who has been working in an English school for five years in Venice, the city where I moved to study, and subsequently graduate, in Philosophy, International Studies and Economics at Ca 'Foscari. I did not have a linear path: after graduating (100/100) at the Liceo Classico, I lived for a few years in Turin, where I began my law studies and in the meantime I was tutoring, middle school students mostly. I then started an internship in a law firm, but when I realized it wasn't my cup of tea I decided to embark on a new adventure in an extraordinary city: Venice. Despite carrying out an administrative activity, I spend a lot of time in contact with students and teachers, thus developing a considerable interest in teaching, as well as attention and sensitivity towards the needs of people who decide to start a course.

My approach is tailor-made, that is to say that I try first of all to understand the needs of the student, and which techniques they are most comfortable with, in order to establish a path together. A typical lesson would consist firstly in putting into framing the themes and subjects the student wishes to deepen inside the bigger picture of what has been done in school. Secondly, I always try to put together theory and practice, through examples from the everyday life, in order to engage the student and enhance their curiosity. I am very patient and empathic, and my goal is to allow the student to become autonomous and reach self-confidence in their ability to study.
My tutoring generally addresses Middle School and High School students, with a focus on humanities and languages, particularly at High School level.
