About Piersimone
I am a professional saxophonist, graduated from the University of Goteborg (Sweden), with many years of concert and teaching experience both in Italy and abroad. I collaborated with world-famous musicians in the jazz, classical and pop fields. I held jazz improvisation masterclasses in China, Guatemala, Zimbabwe, South Africa and Mozambique. I performed at important music festivals both in Italy and abroad.

I had a classical saxophone training during my studies in Italy ； I had the opportunity to study jazz improvisation with famous American teachers and to deepen my knowledge about improvisation, graduating in Sweden. Mine is a teaching method rooted in the classical tradition as regards the study of instrumental technique and at the same time modern as regards the approach to improvisation and the development of creativity. In addition to the study of the instrumental technique supported by in-depth studies on diaphragmatic breathing, particular attention will be paid to the analysis of harmony and musical forms agreed by the student with me.
