About Joel
My goal is to teach real-world experience so that the student can apply music theory directly to their instrument and understand what and why they are playing in all of their repertoire. My goal is to set all my students up for success.

I have an amazing approach that was taught to me by a Ph.D. in music composition and theory. It’s based on understanding music, scales, arpeggios in a fun and musical way. You will explore theory and how music works as well as begin translating it to your instrument in a very short time. Great for college music majors that just need additional help or for all ages that want to be better on their chosen instrument. I have taught 2nd grade through college-level performance majors as an adjunct professor.
