About Jason

Hi! I'm Jason — a fully qualified architect with a First-Class MArch from the University of Liverpool and have been fully qualified as an Architect.

I'm passionate about helping architecture students unlock their creative potential and develop the technical skills they need to excel in their studies and future careers.

Award-Nominated — I was nominated for multiple awards, including the prestigious Silver President Medal for Architecture at the University of Liverpool — a testament to my design excellence and academic achievement.

️ Professional Experience — I work as an architect at Sheppard Robson in Manchester, where I continue to deliver projects from concept through to completion. Previously, I led the Salford Youth Zone project from Stage 2 through to construction — achieving BREEAM Very Good and featured in The Architects' Journal. My background spans large-scale residential to bespoke extensions, with regular involvement in client presentations, planning submissions, and full Stage 4–5 technical packages delivered in Revit.

About the lesson

My Teaching Approach
I believe architecture education should bridge the gap between theory and practice. Here's how I tutor:

Concept to Completion — I help students understand not just how to design, but why. From initial concept development through to technical delivery, I guide you through the entire design process with a focus on contextually responsive, technically rigorous, and socially meaningful architecture.

Technical Mastery — I bring professional-grade skills in Revit and technical drawing, meaning you'll learn industry-standard tools that will set you apart when you enter the workplace.

Tailored Feedback — Whether you're struggling with design studios, need help with technical drawings, or want to strengthen your portfolio, I adapt my sessions to your specific needs and goals.

Collaborative Mindset — Architecture is a team sport. I encourage open discussion and creative exchange, simulating the studio environment you'll experience in practice.

Typical Lesson Length: 60–90 minutes (flexible based on your needs)

Format: One-on-one sessions, either in-person or online

Who are lessons for? : Architecture students (undergraduate and postgraduate), from beginners to those preparing for final year or professional practice

What I cover: Design studio guidance, technical drawing, portfolio development, software skills (Revit, CAD), project management, presentation techniques, and exam preparation
