About Alejandro
I am a qualified teacher in a very particular program for the formation of a teacher in the arts at a professional level by the Escuela Superior de Artes de Yucatán, which I finished with academic excellence. I have been a working artist since the age of 25, and have been in contact with professional training in Gestalt therapy for over 15 years. I am currently in the Master in Contemporary Art from the University of Barcelona and in the Master in Gestalt Therapy from the Humanist Institute of Gestalt Psychotherapy. In addition, I have dedicated the last 3 years to developing an investigation of the impacts of digital transformation from an artistic-scientific perspective. I have studies in philosophy, pure mathematics, and I have enthusiasm for the study of various sacred paths such as Buddhism, Sufism and Taoism. From this last paragraph I have found a vocation and I have taken the vow to help alleviate the suffering of people and of all sentient beings. I have created my own map to help people develop a clear mind, an open heart and a willing body as a path to self-realization.

ArtTherapy 2.0
In the contemporary world, it is assumed that being in contact with Art is good, the focus of therapies has also changed, from practices for sick people (who were called patients) to an exercise that helps us to have a more conscious life. and full (turning patients into customers).
In the therapeutic field it is generally understood that it is possible to do therapy using art, however, what is understood by art -from the vast world of the Arts- is only a set or system of expressive practices.
Thus, doing art therapy is using some techniques such as painting, writing, cutting, molding some material; even use some aspects of theater or dance; of the music, perhaps some percussion or rhythmic elements and the voice; etc. All this, only focused on the expression that we individually achieve in them.
It is not in the general interest of traditional practices in art therapy to achieve a work of art as such, with its respective conceptual support, criticism, and exhibition.
Perhaps part of the problem is that in order to achieve a better articulation between artistic production, the interpretation of the works created and the therapeutic repercussions that this research-production exercise triggers, professionals are needed who are both masters of the arts, artists active and therapists. This hyper-specialized profile is not easily found.
With my experience I have been able to develop a unique form of Art Therapy, which, situated in the demands and opportunities of today's world, I have called 2.0. We could call it On-Live because it articulates the potentialities of the real and virtual worlds, knowing how to contain their disadvantages, creating a network of new and wonderful possibilities.
I invite you to get to know my proposal that has something formative, something therapeutic and much of the understanding of the complex but fascinating processes of contemporary art production as ways for self-knowledge and the development of consciousness. In such a way that we can build a (therapeutic) relationship through articulating a conversation about the objects of your artistic production.
With this vision you will not only be able to get to know yourself better and have more tools to face life, you will be able to create works with meaning, works of dharmic art as Chögyam Trungpa would say, art that dilutes your sense of separation from the world and opens up your life. to a whole experience more open, peaceful and of service to others.
It is not so much about a methodology as it is about a vocation and a vision, so our meeting, unique as it will be, will be the space for us to investigate together which parts of the vast world of art are suitable for you, which therapeutic tools work for you: to you. In short, it is about you and me, in a unique relationship touched by art, curiosity, imagination and creativity.
