About Elliott
I have a passion for teaching/mentoring, ensuring that my students have the tools and confidence to enter the NHS and be successful within their career as I understand how daunting it can be. I started my NHS career in 2017 (working as a Healthcare Assistant), this allowed me to experience a variety of settings (Hospital Wards, ED, ICU), I then progressed into working within MIU & GP OOH (Emergency Nurse Assistant), this allowed me to gain skills such as catheterisation and wound closure. Once I qualified as a Paramedic, I joined South Central Ambulance Service where I gained skills such as Module 2 water responder, MTA & CBRN responder (marauding terror attack & Chemical, Biological, Radiological and nuclear). I conduct interviews on behalf of SCAS thus I am able to offer sessions surrounding interview preparation and advice for NHS interviews. I work collaboratively with my students to understand where they feel development is needed and set goals to ensure all targets are met. I like to spend 15 minutes or so at the first session getting to know you and what your goals within healthcare are; this helps me to tailor the session(s) to yourself.

I am a laid-back individual with a portfolio of experience (working in hospital to pre-hospital environments). The way I teach you is very much down to how you learn and what your goals are within healthcare. I am able to offer NHS interview prep with realistic mock interviews and questions, giving you the knowledge to succeed. Online sessions can be booked, if you prefer face-to-face sessions, these can be done at a mutual location, e.g. coffee shops. My hours are flexible (due to being a shift worker) thus evenings or early mornings are no problem. Any questions, give me a shout!
