About Loïc

Hi there, my name is Loïc, I’m 38 years old and half younger at heart. Considering my 6,2ft and my 240lbs, I should have gotten myself into pro-boxing. I graduated in French Literature instead and adopted a unicorn. Then I travelled the world for years and learnt something useful… English! Amongst other dialects spoken by very few people, like Spanish and Japanese. I understood that one language puts you in a corridor for life, while two languages or more open all the doors along the way. It could be a matter of survival even. What if you’re unable to call the room service of any hotel and say: “I ordered my breakfast 20 minutes ago and I’m still waiting, it is unacceptable, pronto!”. The quickest way to do it would be to marry a native obviously, but it might sound quite extreme… You only have 2 ring fingers. A language is so much more than words. It is about traditions, history and culture. It’s a journey through space and time. So let me guide you: ‘Welcome aboard, feel comfortable and “décollage imminent”!’.

About the lesson

As you are unique, your needs and expectations are different from others. That is why I need to know what your purpose is, in order to define a teaching plan with you. Feel free to indicate the desirable knowledge, skills or aptitudes to be gained.
As a tutor, I will take care of each of you with energy, fun and smile, regardless of age and level, as learning should never be boring.
I have one rule I like to call the ‘3 G rule’: GIVE - GIVE – GIVE! I will achieve it by supporting and guiding you all the way, being kind, caring, empathic and passionate. Learning a language is taking off for a journey, so let’s fly together for a while.
