About Nina
Storytelling has been an artery of my practice for the last 18 years, and I employ various mediums to communicate my projects, with video being my oft-used tool for independent projects. I am trained in film/video production and worked as a freelancer in the corporate video sector for close to a decade before pivoting to arts education in recent years. I believe that visual storytelling has taken on many new forms and as the media landscape shifts and incorporates new elements for stage, content and cinema, I am motivated by the merging of all these intersections, and I bring new perspectives to tired methodologies. Working with youths as a MOE and NAC-AEP registered instructor has also expanded my desire to continually see the world with fresh lenses. I also have experience working with children with ASD who are verbal.

I am a teaching artist, so I am aware of emerging technology and I incorporate that into my coaching methodology.
I have been behind the camera for the last 20 years, and for the last 7 years, I have coached students for stage work.

I'm open to working with folks 13 and over.
Each session's duration can be adjusted to your needs, though I recommend at least 60 mins.
I am qualified in Film/Video Production & Applied Drama and Psychology.
