About Carolina
I am a Biologist, licensed by the University of Coimbra and the State University of Londrina, and Bachelor by UEL. My academic background has always led me to the paths of education, from the first year I work in schools teaching Science and Biology, Elementary School II, High School, Teaching Youth and Adults. I was part of the PIBID (teaching initiation program) and graduation sandwich at the University of Coimbra, where I spent two years studying new teaching methodologies and experiencing a new school reality in Portugal. I did a curricular internship at the Laboratory of Neuroendocrine Physiology and Metabolism, mainly studying the neural control of food intake in several experimental experimental models.

My method of teaching science and biology is mainly scientific initiation. I like models and projects that make us realize that science is all around us and make students observe and question how things work or could work. Exercising creativity, proactivity and critical thinking, making the student elucidate their goals and make their own associations so that it reaches the knowledge.
