About Dimpho
I hold a BSc in Information & Communication Technology and +/- four years of experience largely in the field of Business Process Analysis. I am now working as a Quality Engineer which is just a fancy (and I dare say dramatic) way of saying I am a Software Tester.
I did not always want to be in the IT field; I wanted to be an astrophysicist, then a student of philosophy. But life had a different plan for me.
Nevertheless, my deep belief in continuous improvement meant I will spend my life as a sponge - sucking in as much knowledge as I could because as I always say: there's a lot to learn, so learn a lot. Learning inspires growth, learning inspires wisdom, learning is the easiest and best way to make oneself better.

A lot of the learnings that stuck with me happened because they were conversational in nature. That has been the approach I took in life and in every workplace; and now with you.
It took me over 12 years to be as good in English as I am now and that all happened in a classroom. Surely, to get you doing any better at a quicker rate would mean an approach very different from that.
Expect the use of a lot of relatable tools - games, exercises and conversations that will not only get you comfortable speaking and writing at the level you desire, but will also reveal where to focus on for the next parts of your learning journey.
We will begin with testing your current level - writing, speaking, reading and comprehension - and then look to see where you wish to be. Then we create a high-level roadmap for your learning journey, pointing out a few goal posts. We will then see what small-wins we can agree on so progress of your journey is clear.
I am Tswana and have a basic understanding of many of the 13 official languages of South Africa.
A little secret: I am also learning a new language as we speak - Dutch. So we can both share how best we are going about our learning journeys; maybe even pass me a cheat, huh?
