About Gabrielle
I have played with the Meredith College Sinfonietta as well as a traditional Celtic folk group and even had the opportunity to play in a wedding ceremony.
Fun Fact: I have 15+ years of teaching experience through martial arts as I started teaching classes when I was 9 years old and my parents used to own a gym! I hope we get to work together and feel free to ask me questions!!

I am a music lover and enthusiast that wants to share the joy of learning a musical instrument with my students. I graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC with a minor in music.
I create lessons that are tailored to meet each student's individual goals and interests. I have experience playing Classical as well as Irish/Celtic folk music but can help students navigate different musical styles that they want to play. I have been studying the violin for over 12 years. My students can expect to learn in a positive, fun, and no-pressure environment at their own pace.
Students will learn how to read music, how to properly hold and care for the violin, and how to play and construct basic scales, among other techniques and skills.
