About Yasanjeewa
My name is Yasanjeewa, and I use the moniker of Yaji. I am 26 with a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London (Hons) and a Master's of Justice and Criminology from RMIT. 10+ years of public speaking.
Before the accolades and the achievements you see above, I was extremely shy and hopeless in talking to crowds. I come from Sri Lanka, and we do not have law as a subject in school, so my grades were not the best, to put it mildly. However, I found my passion for the law through public speaking and debating. Scored well during university and received the highest accomplishment in the Sri Lanka Model United Nations as the 2022 Secretary General.
I am passionate about teaching the law because I want to show students that it is not hard. The same goes for public speaking. Apparently, people prefer death over public speaking. I personally elected to vomit at my first conference out of fear.
Bottom line is that if a shy, vomiting, low-scoring person like me managed to get good grades and the highest awards in public speaking, then certainly so can you!

My teaching method is to focus on simplicity and omit unnecessary explanations of the law. Unless asked in the assignment/test, you do not need to know who the Earl of Oxford's brother-in-law is!
My aim is not to make you think like a student or a lawyer. We only need to think of how you are going to score the highest mark possible. The good thing for you is that there are no wrong answers in law. It is how you support your claim once you make it. Teaching you to think that way is my goal, whilst making you understand the content you are studying.
Theory lessons (1 Hour): This is where you will learn the content and gain a sound understanding of the law.
Tutorials (45 Mins): We will break down the assignment or questions asked and apply our understanding of the law.
Public Speaking (TBD): We will focus on what exactly you need as a free consultation session.
