About Katie
Katie is an enthusiastic and diligent musician and trumpet player studying for her Bachelor of music degree with Honours at The Royal College Of Music. Katie has 4 years of experience teaching groups of primary school age children in schools around London and teaching one to one, privately, in her specialism (brass). From the 4 years of experience teaching young children she has acquired the skills to teach basic keyboard and theory skills. A very moldable person, quick learner, and diligent young professional musician, she thrives around people of all backgrounds and ages and has experience teaching adults and children in schools and privately. Having been introduced to music through her local music service and being taught by incredible musicians and teachers at her time in the National Orchestra Of Great Britain, she understands and appreciates the great care and dedication that teaching demands.

In our lessons we will cover whatever you want. If you are a beginner and have an interest in a brass instrument that’s all you need! Together we can get you reading music and playing. I have taught brass instruments for about three years now both one to one and in classrooms. I have taught in schools ages 5-17 and also adults.
Depending on the students age lessons can be half an hour to an hour long.
