About Shayla

My tutoring style is personalized and student-centered. I take the time to understand each student’s strengths, challenges, and goals, then tailor lessons to match their learning style. Whether it’s mastering core concepts, preparing for exams, or building better study habits, I focus on making learning clear, engaging, and stress-free. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes—because that’s how real learning happens. Seeing students gain confidence and achieve their goals is what motivates me most.

About the lesson

I do a lot of hands on work and typically work with k-3 kiddos. i believe routine is extremely important for kids as well as repetition. Kids are highly motivated by continuous positive praise and somebody telling them that they are doing a great job.
