About Sona
Teaching zoology is an incredible journey of discovery and connection. It’s not just about imparting facts; it’s about opening a window into the vast and fascinating world of animals, their behaviors, adaptations, and ecosystems. I am deeply passionate about sharing how diverse and interconnected life is, and how every species, from the smallest insect to the largest mammal, plays a critical role in the web of life. What excites me most is watching students begin to see the intricate patterns and marvel at the wonders of nature. Zoology offers a unique lens through which we can better understand the planet, our place in it, and the importance of conservation. When students engage with topics like animal physiology, ecology, or evolution, they are not just learning about animals—they are learning to think critically about the world around them and the future we are shaping. For me, it's not just about facts and textbooks; it's about inspiring a sense of awe and responsibility. I love seeing the spark in a student’s eyes when they connect the dots between what they’re learning and the real-world issues at hand.
