About the lesson

Effective tutoring relies on understanding each student's unique learning style and adapting my teaching and lessons accordingly. I use interactive techniques and real-world examples, along with various multimedia resources, to engage students. Lessons typically last 30 minutes, building on and revisiting previous learning without overwhelming students.

I hold a bachelors degree in education and post graduate diploma in Primary Teaching. With over four years of experience, I have taught English, phonics, reading, writing, and spelling to young learners aged 3 to 7. Furthermore, I have pursued additional tertiary education in structured literacy and hold a certification to teach BSLA (Better Start Literacy Approach). I have three years of experience implementing this structured literacy method, which is particularly advantageous for English language learners and struggling readers.

I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing ideas, fostering confidence and a love for learning.
