About Ciara
I have been playing violin since I was 6 years old and studying music since then. I continued it into college and it was something I have always loved doing and being a part of. I got lucky and unlucky through my years of learning, with some amazing teachers and some teachers who struggled to help me understand the parts of music that were a challenge for me. I teach music to help students have a clear and concise understanding of what they are reading, playing or listening to. Music is all around us and I think it is important that we take time to understand it and enjoy what we are learning.

When teaching music and learning myself I like to bring music back to the basics and work from there. Creating structured notes and analysis of music and also tricks of the trade to create comprehensive, clear and concise learning for my students. Lessons vary from 30 mins to an hour depending on the level and content of the lesson. I work with beginners to Leaving Cert level, but all ages are welcome for lessons.

Perfect! Ciara is a great teacher. She is very clear and explains everything really well. She is very organised and has work preplanned for the lesson. I would highly recommend her as a teacher.
Perfect! Only done one lesson so far but Ciara has a really nice vibe and can explain the course work in an understandable way. I will keep returning until my leaving cert for help.
