About Andrea Rose
I have been playing the piano since I was three years old. I have always played and taught piano since leaving music college.
I love to meditate and journal each day and I have a beautiful little dog who is a keen meditator too!!
I love listening to all types of music especially jazz.

My lessons are always greeted with warmth , patience and expertise in every aspect of piano teaching. I am not grade orientated. However if pupils want to work through the grades then that’s fine by me. I have taught beginners up to Grade 8 and have an impressive range of results. Musicality and playing from your heart is what inspires me to give my very best as a teacher. Creative imagination when learning pieces and stimulating questions and answers from teacher to pupil is very important such as ‘how does this piece make you feel?’
Technique is important too and I like to start each lesson with a series of warm ups ready for the main event!
Lessons are 30 minutes long and up to an hour for more advanced pupils.I hold the GRSM and LRAM (piano) from the Royal Academy of Music and have many years teaching experience and lessons are open to all ages and abilities.
My fee is £20 per half hour.
