Hetty is an excellent tutor, perfectly striking the balance between letting you work at a comfortable rhythm, and pushing you to achieve your potential. She really built up my confidence, and her knowledge and teaching style were really effective in getting my work to where I wanted it to be.

Hetty's gone above and beyond in supporting me in Sociology at a degree level. She was able to help break down concepts that were relevant to the course but I was rusty on from A-Levels, and extend and connect them to outside reading that supplemented my learning. By the end of the year, I was well-prepared to take the examinations and did much better than I was expecting — which is also in part due to her conscientiousness and care. I felt really supported in our sessions together, and am grateful for her patience and wisdom throughout this time.

Hetty has been an organised, understanding and attentive tutor to my son as she prepares for his GCSEs in English literature, English language and History. She has built up extensive knowledge of the British education system - and has been able to advise us as parents. Most of all she has been consistently been able to meet our son where he is at, whether that be teaching content to a high level, working on improving his exam technique or supporting his time management and organisation.
