About Kayla
My teaching philosophy revolves around fostering curiosity, acquiring knowledge, and nurturing a culture of knowledge-sharing. I encourage students to explore diverse paths and experiment with various design forms to discover their passions. I believe in assessing progress based on the continual improvement of their work over time. As an educator, I am committed to evolving alongside my students by embracing innovative teaching methodologies and exploring diverse design realms. I am a staunch advocate for integrating technology into the classroom, recognizing its pivotal role in shaping the future. In an era of rapid technological advancement, it is imperative for our youth to not only keep pace with these advancements but also strive to push the boundaries further. I view technology as a catalyst for enriching the learning experience, providing students with fresh perspectives on learning and production. My goal is to empower students to perceive technology not as an intimidating force but as a valuable tool for success. In this dual credit course, students will engage with a myriad of technologies, and I actively encourage them to incorporate their discoveries into their future projects.
