About Mikala
I hold a degree in English Literature and am currently in a MA/PhD program for English Composition and Rhetoric. Editing papers and helping others write has been a professional and personal activity for me since early high school. I love being able to help other people succeed and strengthen their communicative skills.

My approach to writing is very student-oriented. I offer perspective that the student may choose to take or not take. Overall, my goal is to show students different writing practices that they may adopt to fit their own needs. Whether the student is more concerned globally about the structure of their writing or more locally about sentence-level revisions, I can help.
