About Galen

As a gymnastics coach, with 4 years of coaching experience under my belt, I know how to be professional in a teacher-student setting. I also have experience working with kids of all ages from coaching so I know how to work with them. I also know how to make things fun for my students when I need to and how to not take things too seriously all the time.

About the lesson

I offer 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons. What we do in each lesson is specific to each student. I factor in where the student is at musically, what they want to learn, as well what I feel my student most need to work on in order to improve as a pianist.

Details

My rate for my piano lessons is $70/hour. The rate best reflect my current experience with piano and teaching piano. Along with my 15 years of serious piano study, I have played in many piano recitals and several competitions. I am excited to help students become great piano performers if they choose/want to as well as help my students find enjoyment for playing their instrument. I offer the first 30 minutes of lesson time for free so my new students can decide if they want to continue tasks lessons or if I’m the right fit for them as a teacher.
