About Muhammad
My name is Ali and I have a BSc in Information Technology. Computing is what I chose to study and it's still what I enjoy most, which is why I'd rather teach it than do anything else with my degree.
I know how easily students get put off this subject. Programming in particular has a way of making people feel slow when really they've just been shown it badly one confusing explanation early on and they decide they're "not a computer person." I don't think that's usually true. Most students get there once someone slows down and explains the part that was skipped.
I'm patient, I don't mind repeating things, and I'd rather you asked me the same question three times than pretended to understand.

I hold a BSc in Information Technology and teach Computer Science, ICT and computing online. I work with students from primary level up to O-Level, IGCSE and GCSE, including those who are completely new to programming.
Lessons are one-to-one and built around what you actually find difficult, not a fixed script. In a typical session we go over a topic together, then you work through problems while I watch and correct the thinking rather than just the answer. For programming, that means writing real code in Python and debugging it yourself, because reading about loops is not the same as writing one.
I set short tasks between lessons and check them at the start of the next session, so progress is visible rather than assumed.
