About Isabel
I am a languages graduate from the University of Warwick, studying German and Italian. I can offer GCSE tutoring for Italian and GCSE and A-Level tutoring for German. I live in Bristol, I have a car so am able to travel to the surrounding area, I can also teach via Skype, Facetime, Zoom etc.
I have taught from students ages 11-18 German and English in the UK and in Germany, so have experience and lots of great feedback from the students to say they think my teaching style is effective.

My teaching approach would depend on the exam board being studied by the student (if studying for a qualification) and I can make sure I bring past papers for practice as I think this is the most valuable and practical way of learning the language.
I will also make sure I can help with speaking skills as this is usually the weakest skill among students at GCSE and A-Level as they don't have a lot of practice at schools. I also think it is important to practice all four major skills in language competency: listening, reading, writing and speaking. I will of course tailor the lessons around the needs of the student.
If the student would just like to improve general fluency of either of the languages and is a beginner or intermediate, I can also help with oral fluency and/or grammar workshops, anything that would be appropriate for the tutee.

Details
I like to keep my lessons cheap as I don't think tutoring should cost a lot of money. The only thing I would ask is a little more for tutoring if i would have to travel (£17 an hour) because I would have to pay for travel costs. If it is an online lesson I am happy to do it for £12 an hour :)
