About Teja

I have experience tutoring English, Eng Lit/Lang for children ages 5-18. I approach lessons for exam board students with focus on past-paper questions and mark schemes, and spend a lot of time trying to draw out personal perspective from my students. For younger students, I implement lesson plans with engaging resources and enthusiasm, to motivate students to learn with interest and push themselves. I have achieved a Grade 8 in Keyboard, 7 in Guitar, and 5 in Flute, and have an understanding of Music Theory that encompasses different types of learners, whether you're learning to play one of these instruments, or none.

About the lesson

I specialise in both English Literature - at GCSE and A-Level, as well as Basic Music Theory. I have experience tutoring English ages 5-18, both Lit/Lang at GCSE and only Eng Lit at A-Level. My lessons are focused on understanding and analysing the subject matter in-depth, as well as looking at example essays to understand what examiners are seeking and determine each student's (and your) individual perspective. Depending on your needs, I am flexible with lesson plans, which could alternately be focused on schoolwork that you are unsure about, or going through past-papers.
