About Edita

I'm a polyglot! I can speak English(native), Spanish, Italian, French, Bosnian, and Arabic (Tunisian dialect), and as a big language nerd, I know all the shortcuts to learning a language. On top of that, I have just graduated a BA in Modern Languages at the University of Leicester where I studied Spanish, French, Italian, and how to teach foreign languages. I also lived in Spain, Italy and currently Tunisia (French speaking), where I have developed the languages/dialects thanks to native speakers. I have also been tutoring languages for about two years, and currently tutor English from Arabic/French in-person to children and refugees in Tunis

About the lesson

I have experience teaching students from all ages and diverse backgrounds. Therefore, I am well trained in adapting my teaching methodologies to whatever suits your needs - whether it be more intense, more relaxed, or more engaging style lessons, I am very attentive and will always make sure the lessons are working for you. As I mentioned, I will keep you organised through assessing your level, setting priorities, and breaking the language into manageable stages. Furthermore, I have been trained academically at university in the languages that I teach, and also speak in them daily, so I know how to equip you with professional and formal language and/or keep you up to date with conversational colloquialisms that local speakers actually use! I'm also neurodivergent friendly! As a language nerd with ADHD and 2 years of teaching experience, I know how to keep you motivated and organised whatever your struggles. Finally, I am a great communicator and will always check in that you're enjoying your lessons to ensure your linguistic progression. As someone who loves learning languages, I know that sometimes all we need is a friendly push to keep us going.

I've only had a few weeks learning Spanish with Edita but I already feel like I've made so much progress :) There were so many concepts that I couldn't wrap my head around but she broke everything down into really simple steps. I also really appreciate how well she keeps me organised and I find the resources she gives me are very clear and helpful. I will keep having lessons with her and would definitely recommend her
