About Thomas
I am from England, moved to Australia in 2012 and started working as an Activity Officer for a Whitsundays Resort and worked my way upto the Manager role.
I ran my own sports academy in Airlie beach Aswell as for Mackay Regional football zone, setting up and running the competitions.
In 2020 I moved to the NT for a role devised by the Commonwealth to address a range of issues with developing sport in remote NT.
I set up many sporting programs that are currently sustainable.
Football (Soccer) and Tennis were the two sports I played to a high lev whilst also playing a range of other sports.
Currently working as a sport and recreation officer for Townsville City Council.

General and sport specific sports coaching
Physiology and anatomy
Event and competition management
Sport marketing
Club development and governance
Policy and procedure development

I’m a very personable and patient tutor, knowledgeable and experienced in many different aspects of sport and recreation. I prioritise understanding students learning styles to tailor my teaching to their learning. Having worked with many Peak Sporting Bodies such as NT football, NT AFL, NT Tennis, NT Softball, NT Basketball, Qld FQ, Sports Australia.
