About Nobel
I'm a software engineer and educator with experience teaching over 100 high school students in AP Computer Science and university-level programming courses. My students have gone on to top programs including Harvard and Carnegie Mellon.
I've worked as a software engineer at FreeWill, where I built production applications with TypeScript and Retool, and as a research assistant optimizing Python code on AWS for LIGO—the world's largest gravitational wave observatory. I bring this real-world experience into every session.
My teaching approach helped my students achieve a 90% pass rate in AP Computer Science, and I've written letters of recommendation highlighting students who demonstrated exceptional performance.
Whether you're preparing for the AP exam, tackling college-level computer science, or building foundational coding skills, I'll meet you where you are and help you reach your goals.

Teaching Method
I focus on helping students discover answers themselves rather than just giving them solutions. Working with over 20 students as a HeyTutors contractor and teaching 100+ students at Success Academy taught me that when students recognize patterns on their own, the concepts stick.
I use small group work and positive reinforcement—students learn better when they explain things to each other and feel supported rather than pressured. This approach helped my AP Computer Science students achieve a 90% pass rate.
Typical Lesson
Warm-up (5–10 min): Quick review problem to activate what they already know
New concept (15–20 min): Introduce one idea using simple, relatable examples
Practice together (20 min): I guide while they code, talking through their thinking
Work in pairs (15 min): Students solve similar problems together while I check in
Wrap-up (5 min): What clicked? What still feels tricky?
