Personally, my approach to private tutoring is based on understanding each students as an individual learner. I value students needs, consider their challenges, unique strengths and learning abilities, in this as a tutor is to be supportive so as to grow students confidence.
I considered making complex contents into simpler one so as students may easily understand. I also encourage students to ask questions in order to make the class interactive.
I believe as a tutor you are supposed to be simple and approachable, this will make students feel comfortable with you during class and out of class sessions.
