About Alex
I’ve been playing the saxophone since I was 9 and have played with many bands performing many different styles. I have experience teaching and enjoy the fulfillment of offering tips and tricks I wish I knew while studying music before and during college. And I have lots of experience with the struggle of practice routines and can offer ways to keep playing fun and exciting while developing general musicianship.

After studying music for so long I’ve learned how to keep music fun as apposed to overly academic and mechanical and teach applicable skills to be playing and be comfortable soloing/improvising in addition to more intricate saxophone technique. I also play piano and find it useful as a tool to learn music theory and harmony to be applied to playing on other instruments.
