About Callaghan
Hi there, my name is Cal Kevany! I studied Jazz Guitar at the USC Thornton school of music and have been giving private lessons for almost ten years! I have been playing guitar for 15 years, and following my graduation from college, I have made touring and music teaching my full time job. I'd love for a chance to help you along your musical journey!

I am a very patient and understanding teacher who knows how to look back and remember the trials and tribulations I had when I was a beginner! I always try to explain things in a way that would have helped my beginner self. Also, any teacher can show you licks and riffs, but I pride myself in going deeper and trying to give you the skills to teach yourself and learn how to really practice! I love teaching all skill levels, and a typical lesson would stem from the students own goals and interests, and how I can identify pathways for them to get there.
