About Natasha
I've previously worked in research at Addenbrooke's Hospital on an international study into Alzheimer's Disease in Down's syndrome. During my MPhil, I contributed to a research paper that is now in press and due to be published, giving me further experience in academic research and scientific writing.
Alongside my research, I have experience in mentoring, outreach, and teaching students from a wide range of academic backgrounds. I have tutored students at all levels, supporting them with exams, coursework, essay writing, and university preparation. I have also worked as a summer school teacher for international students preparing for Oxbridge applications, helping students strengthen their academic confidence.
My teaching style is friendly, approachable, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing confidence, and reaching their academic goals.

I offer tutoring in Psychology and/or Neuroscience for students studying at GCSE, A-Level, and undergraduate level. My teaching style is friendly, supportive, and tailored to each student’s needs, whether that is improving confidence, preparing for exams, understanding difficult topics, or developing essay and research skills.
Lessons are usually 1 hour long and are designed to be as engaging as possible. I like to use clear explanations, visual examples, discussion, and exam-style questions to help students properly understand concepts rather than just memorise information.
I hold both a BSc in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham and an MPhil Biological Sciences (with a focus on Neuroscience research) from the University of Cambridge and have worked in academic research settings in the past, focusing on neurodevelopment and dementia research. Alongside research, I have experience in outreach, mentoring, and communicating complex scientific ideas to different audiences. My aim is to create a relaxed learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their abilities.
