About Leah
My name is Leah and I studied Politics, Maths, History and Business at A Level before attending the University of Bath to read Politics and Economics.
I have a passion for post-colonial violence studies, particularly with a gender element and focused my dissertation on analysing survivor testimonies. I developed a theoretical framework of shame and scapegoating and used it to analyse and code my testimonies.
I now work in investment finance, following a 14 month internship in an FP&A role. I am passionate about providing detail-orientated insights and understanding how markets interact with politics.
Beyond my studies and job I enjoy reading. While I love all genres I have a soft spot for magical realism.

I have extensive tutoring experience and prefer to confirm verbally with the student their preferred lesson plan. I always prioritise a warm welcome if it is your first lesson and will ensure that you have an opportunity to make specific requests and ask any questions you may have.
I can offer 30 minute lessons or 1 hour slots and will provide a written report at the end of each class for you to review. I appreciate being prepared for the lesson and would encourage you to send me material before the lesson begins.
I have a first-class dissertation from the University of Bath and held several high-level graduate job offers. I have taught over 270 lessons to various students and am happy to teach at any level up to and including Bachelor degrees.
