About Cassandra
I've lived and worked in Vienna, Austria cumulatively over two years both as an English teacher and a German-speaking music instructor.
Before that, I studied German at The Pennsylvania State University and went on to earn my B2 certificate in the German language. I also learned classical German diction which means, not only can I teach you how to speak colloquially and explain the grammatical structure of the language, but I can also help you sound native with beautiful pronunciation!
I graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a B.A. in Music (my main instrument is classical voice) and I have 19 years of experience as a pianist.
My craft is focused primarily in the classical/opera field and I also have experience performing/teaching theatre repertoire.
I've performed in various locations ranging from Philadelphia, PA to Vienna, Austria.

Hi there!
My name's Cassandra and I have been teaching voice and piano for over 10 years and German for over three years.
I've taught over 250 students, ages 4-60, privately and for several academies.
I love teaching because, whether it's voice, piano, or German, I believe each person is capable of learning a new skill.
I'm a firm believer that music helps us become better people. When words fail, music speaks, and the more we know about ourselves, the easier it is to understand each other.
It is crucial for me to create an enriching and fun environment for each person I work with. I prioritize incorporating the fundamentals and proper technique within each lesson while also making learning fun through engaging pieces and concepts.
