About Ava
With formal training in piano from a conservatory in China and a master's degree completed in Melbourne, I am passionate about helping young beginners discover the joy of music. I specialize in teaching children under 12 or beginners of other ages, using patient, encouraging methods that build strong foundations and confidence. As I continue my journey in music education here in Australia, I am committed to creating a warm, supportive environment. Lessons are available in English or Mandarin to suit each student’s needs and comfort.

With a degree in Musicology from a conservatory in China and piano as my secondary focus, I love introducing music to children under 12 and absolute beginners of other ages. My lessons are gentle, patient, and fun, helping kids build strong foundations and enjoy their first steps in music. Sessions are typically 30–40 minutes. As I plan to continue studying secondary music education in Australia, teaching young learners is the perfect way to share my passion and gain valuable experience.
