About Sophia
I have extensive experience providing tutoring/education services to fellow students. In my undergraduate training, I worked as a Phonetics tutor and assisted others in their understanding of phonemes and transcription. In graduate school, I worked as a TA in the cadaver lab anatomy course, where I set up weekly lab sessions with donors, provided weekly tutoring opportunities for further learning, and assisted the professor in grading. Apart from this, I am highly passionate about teaching others and providing knowledge that will help others be the best SLP they can.

Through my training and education, I have extensive knowledge in foundational speech and language concepts. Specifically, I have been trained in medical SLP foundations, such as anatomy, physiology, head and neck cancer, and tracheostomy/ventilation. I was a cadaver lab anatomy TA at the graduate level, and find tremendous joy in supporting fellow students in their learning and training to become a refined speech-language pathologist.
