About Coyote
I am an artist living in Los Angeles that focuses on personal documentary-style photography that deals with themes like identity, family, community, and cultural diasporas. I have worked in New York City, Honolulu, London, but a majority of my work is made in California. I am Two Spirit transgender and mixed Karuk, Yurok, German, and Korean. I enjoy writing and filmmaking, while spending plenty of time by the ocean with my chosen kin. Last year I did a residency in Colombia and received a certification in queer curating. I enjoy all forms of art and working with artists from all experiences.

I have shown my work in international galleries, museums, and local art exhibitions. Outside of these shows I’ve also been a traveling art lecturer that has visited universities and colleges across the United States. I am passionate about uplifting artists work and helping materialize new ideas! Would be happy to consult on projects, help through creative writing, or even give any critiques that can advance your current work!
