About Tristan
Hi I'm Tristan! At 21 years old, I have just graduated from the University of Oxford where I studied History. Prior to that, I took A Levels in History, English Literature and Classical Civilisation, where I achieved A* A A respectively.
My aim is to provide students with lessons that both encourage them academically, but also create a thriving and interesting learning environment; whether this is refining a university application, essay writing technique, or subject specific sessions which aim to improve on school or university feedback. My teaching aspires to be personable, helping students develop both academic ability and inspire self-confidence in their abilities.

This flexible style means we can identify areas of improvement, from writing style to exam technique, to provide tailored and effective tutoring. This can be subject specific or general (personal statements and Oxbridge admissions for example)
I aim to provide personal and friendly lessons, ranging from GCSE up to University Level, primarily across the subjects of History, English and Classical Civilisation.
Having graduated with a first class degree from Balliol College, University of Oxford, I have spent three years working within an excellent personal tutoring environment. This personal approach creates an environment where individual challenges and goals can be easily identified, and readily improved upon with great success.
