About the lesson

Hello everyone! Raise your hand if you’ve ever wanted to speak Tagalog confidently, understand our beautiful songs and stories, or chat easily with family and friends—well, you’re in the right place!
I’m Teacher Ivy, your Major in Filipino teacher, and I make learning fun: we’ll talk about daily life, play word games, sing, act out scenes, and share our own stories together, step by step, at your own pace—no rushing, no fear, just real progress! I’ll guide you from your very first greeting to telling your own stories, explain things clearly in English whenever you need, and celebrate every small win with you—so who’s ready to unlock this amazing language and carry it proudly wherever you go? Let’s learn Tagalog together—say 'I’m in!' if you’re with me!
