About Naina’s
My name is Naina, and I’m passionate about helping students not only improve academically but also grow in confidence. I know from experience that learning can sometimes feel overwhelming but with the right support, every student is capable of achieving their goals. I chose to become a tutor because I genuinely enjoy guiding others through their challenges and watching them succeed. Teaching allows me to share knowledge in a way that makes learning less stressful and more enjoyable. For me, it’s not just about helping students pass exams, it’s about showing them how capable they really are. What drives me as a tutor is seeing that “lightbulb moment” when something finally makes sense for a student. Those moments remind me why I love teaching and why I’m committed to creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow.

Techniques & Teaching Methodology: I use a student-centered approach, adapting lessons to each learner’s needs, goals, and learning style. Break down complex topics into simple, clear steps with examples. Encourage active participation through questions, discussion, and problem-solving rather than passive listening. Use visual aids, real-life examples, and structured notes to make learning easier to understand and retain. Regularly check understanding and provide constructive feedback to build confidence. Typical Lesson Length Standard lessons are 60 minutes. Can be adjusted (e.g., 45 minutes for younger learners, 90 minutes for exam preparation or advanced topics). Qualifications & Experience Graduate from Mount Alvernia College Have taught younger ages between 10-13. Especially with math and English. Who My Lessons Are For Suitable for high school and primary students.
