About Helen

My name is Helen Nguyen. I am a female and I am now 30 years old. I started playing the piano at the age of 8 years old and still going until this day on. One of my hobbies involves listening to all kinds of music whether it be modern contemporary or jazz or classical songs or instrumental songs or soundtracks. I have learnt classical songs since when I was young and have enjoyed playing them. I really enjoy and love learning to play new instruments. I also very much do enjoy playing songs that I enjoy playing on the piano or songs that fit in with my mood. I became a private music piano teacher since October 2014 until 2020. I have a huge passion for exploring and trying out new things in general especially in the music industry. I also have a huge passion for teaching young students at home in my own studio with a piano. I thoroughly also love to interact with young students and teach them new skills and knowledge and seeing what they have learnt during the lesson.

I really enjoy being a music private teacher because I get to see how the students learn and the strategies they have used to utilise their learning. I really enjoy teaching young students other ways and strategies that can help with their learning. I strongly do believe that teaching beginner students are a great way for them to learn music. As it will help with their practical and theoretical skills but not only with that, it helps them to gain more knowledge as they learn through the basic concepts. Therefore, I do strongly think I am eligible in this job because I strongly do enjoy working with young beginner students and strongly love helping young students to become better learners later in life in the long run.
