About Milena
My teaching career started when I had just turned sixteen, because my little brother had to attend a French school without knowing a single word in this language. Over the summer, we spent every day with different activities until, he had learnt the extended basics and felt more at ease diving into the unknown. Ever since my love in helping others succeed in their academic career, while pursuing my own. I have completed a Bachelor in English literature and language, a Master in International Affairs as well as a MSc in Cognitive Sciences and currently also work part-time at a charity for music therapy.

During my years in tutoring, I have succeeded in bringing out the best in my students by understanding their own ambitions, explaining what will be possible and designing the classes together. I enhance my lessons through videos and games to bring variety, and always try to find a balance between fun and discipline as apt for the student. I have worked with children in primary school, GCSE as well as A-level, in groups or on an individual basis, and have also experience in working with children on the autism spectrum or with learning disabilities.
