About Abdullah
My educational background is composed of extensive experience in research on “Identity and Belongingness of Afghan Refugees Living in Pakistan”. In this graduate research, I identified and investigated the phenomenon of Refugee’s National Identity and Belongingness by taking into consideration the ethical values in accordance with UNHCR and international law. The data was professionally analyzed using Pivot Table, in Excel (MS Office).
I attended the Fifth Annual Conference organized by Memory Studies Association, “Convergences”, Warsaw, Poland (online). I presented a paper: Diasporic Nationalism and Agonistic Possibilities among Afghan Refugees in Pakistan during panel The International to the Local: Women, Conflict and the Potential of Agonism in Peace building.

My recent master degree in Political Science focuses on governments, inter state’s institutions relations, public policy, law making, strategies to counter socio-political phenomenon. It also made me an effective citizen who believes in political participation for the strengthening of democratic political system.
Further share of my experience in research was obtained while working as a co-author on an international 5 years project “Disputed Territories and Memory (DisTerrMem)” fully funded by Horizon 2020, European Commission Research and Innovation.
Also, I have an exposure to visiting the U.S on a prestigious program namely International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) sponsored by the United States Department of the State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.
I had voluntarily provided my potential skills for several events organized by Forman Political Science Society with collaboration of the Department of Political Science, Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) Lahore. Events including a One-Day Seminar on “Promoting a Research Environment: Reflections and Recommendations For Young Researchers”. A One-Day International Conference on “Fall of Kabul: An Eastern IR Perspective”. Besides this, I added my valuable contribution and great team spirits for the publication of Annual 2021 Departmental Newsletter Volume 02, Issue 01.
