About Ghana
My foundation in economics is built on advanced study across microeconomic theory, macroeconomic analysis, and econometrics, but credentials alone do not make an effective tutor.
Professionalism, to me, means showing up consistently, preparing thoroughly for each session, and treating your goals with the seriousness they deserve. It means:
Reliability: Sessions begin on time, follow a clear structure, and end with actionable takeaways. You will never leave a session uncertain of what was covered or what you need to do next.
Clear Communication: Complex ideas are broken down into digestible steps. I use language appropriate to your level, avoiding unnecessary jargon while ensuring you become fluent in the precise terminology your professors expect.

Hi,
Economics students often struggle because they expect models to perfectly describe reality. I teach you to see models as deliberately simplified maps. We constantly ask: "What assumptions are we making here? What do these assumptions allow us to see clearly? What do they hide? How would relaxing this assumption change our conclusion?" This builds critical thinking and prepares you for advanced coursework.
Economics is not a collection of siloed classes (Micro, Macro, Econometrics). I help you see the connections. The optimization framework from micro appears in macro (households maximizing utility over time). The concept of equilibrium appears everywhere. Econometrics is the toolkit for testing the models. I ensure you develop a unified understanding rather than treating each course as a separate universe.
My Economics tutoring is specifically designed for the degree Level:
First- and Second-Year Economics Students: Those taking introductory microeconomics, introductory macroeconomics, and introductory statistics. My focus here is building strong foundations in economic intuition, graphical analysis, and mathematical readiness for intermediate theory courses.
Third- and Fourth-Year Economics Students: Those in intermediate microeconomics (consumer theory, producer theory, general equilibrium, welfare economics), intermediate macroeconomics (IS-LM, AD-AS, Solow growth model, open economy macro), game theory, industrial organization, public economics, international trade, and development economics.
Econometrics Students: Students taking introductory econometrics (simple and multiple regression, hypothesis testing, functional forms) and advanced econometrics (time series, panel data, instrumental variables, limited dependent variable models).
