About Torquil
I'm a student currently finishing an M.Phil degree. I've been lucky enough to have some fantastic teachers during my academic career and have experienced first hand the effect a good teacher can have on a student. I enjoy a wide range of subjects across a range of genres and will always try and incorporate a plethora of different mediums into my tutoring. Away from my studies I enjoy music and sports in particular.

I always try and cultive an enthusiasm in the subjects I teacher. I try to bond this enthusiasm with a high level of technical skill believing this pairing to be the key to academic development and enjoyment. I design my lessons around my students, adapting various types of learning, both oral, visual and written. I take a great deal of care in the selection of material and will always dedicate myself to achieving success in those I teach.
