About Zoey
"Have you ever wanted to sit down at the piano and play exactly what you hear in your head? Teaching allows me to share the joy of music while guiding 142 students toward their personal goals.
My 11 years of experience have taught me that building hand independence and solid music theory foundations creates a lifetime of musical freedom. My BM degree from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee gave me the tools to break down complex classical repertoire into manageable, logical components. I enjoy working with teens, kids, adults, and intermediate learners who crave a structured approach to their practice sessions.
Throughout our time together, we will explore chord voicing, ear training, and memorization techniques that actually stick. Whether you are interested in pop and contemporary styles or refining your classical technique, I am here to help you grow. Perhaps we can start on your own musical journey together this week."

This approach keeps the material relevant for teens, kids, and adults. I use my piano to model technique during every part of the lesson. We focus on the audible results of your practice.
