About Tuta

Hi, I’m Tuta, a songwriter, producer, and artist currently working on music for both artists and TV projects. Much of my foundation comes from my education at Berklee College of Music, where I graduated summa cum laude with a double major in Songwriting and Independent Recording & Production. Alongside my academic background, I continue to actively work in the music industry, which allows me to bring current, real-world creative and professional experience into my lessons. I love working with people who are curious about music and excited to grow creatively. Whether you’re taking your first steps or developing existing skills, my goal is to create a space where students feel inspired, challenged, and supported while building practical tools they can apply to their own artistic goals. I’m passionate about helping students turn ideas into finished work and sharing insights into how music is created and developed in today’s industry.

About the lesson

My teaching method adapts to each student’s level, interests, and goals. I begin by understanding each student’s experience, creative background, and what they want to achieve, then build lessons around those goals. Classes are open to complete beginners as well as more experienced writers, whether they want to learn how to write songs, improve lyrics and melodies, develop their artistic identity, write for other artists, create music for film or video games, or simply express themselves through songwriting. I believe songwriting is learned by writing, so concepts and theory are always applied directly through exercises, creating original work, analyzing references, and studying artists and songs that inspire each student.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my current experience in the music industry and my understanding of how songs are developed professionally today. My lessons combine creativity with practical application, helping students not only strengthen their songwriting skills but also grow as artists and storytellers. Students leave each session with clear progress, tangible creative work, and insights into today’s music landscape, and I’m always happy to share industry knowledge, resources, and guidance along the way.
