About Chris
I have been a lifelong music student and am very passionate about sharing the knowledge I have gained from studying music since the age of 8. After getting to study music and graduate from Berklee College Of Music, I have worked in many areas of the music industry as a performer, producer, engineer, and teacher. I have taught private music lessons for over 30 years for students from 5 yrs old to 65 yrs old. I would love to help you find your passion for music and offer lessons for piano, voice, ukulele, guitar, bass, and drums.

I teach with a "backwards" approach, meaning that we start with the music that has inspired you to want to learn an instrument. We then work at understanding the fundamentals of music to help you understand what makes the music you love to come to life, while working backwards to understanding the history of music and how learning music of the past can help to fully understand how music keeps pushing forward with the creation of new sounds and styles. All while always keeping the lessons tailored to your needs and what inspires you most.
