My Teaching Method & Techniques
My method is rooted in patience, connection, and real-world relevance—perfect for Social Studies, History, Economics, and Values Education. I don’t rush learners; I meet them where they are and guide them step by step.
Key techniques I use:
Concept-first learning: Before memorizing facts, we build understanding—explaining why and how things happen, not just what happened.
Story & context-based teaching: History and social topics come alive through narratives, local examples, and Philippine context so they feel relatable.
Step-by-step unpacking: For abstract topics like Economics, I break ideas down simply—using everyday situations (family budget, community trade) to make hard concepts clear.
Reflective & inclusive space: In Values Education and Social Studies, I create a safe environment where every learner’s thought is valued; we discuss, not just lecture.
Progress at own pace: I repeat, rephrase, and use different examples until it clicks—no pressure, no rushing.
