Progress is most enjoyable when you can see exactly how far you have come. 395 students have relied on my structured guidance to build their musical abilities.
I offer a monthly recorded review of progress to keep your development on track. My background includes a degree from Berklee and the Licenciatura en Guitarra Flamenca. This academic foundation merges with 18 years of practical stage work. We will examine lead guitar lines together in detail.
You will learn to use your hands with intention and grace. This process remains lighthearted throughout our time together.

Electric technique, acoustic technique, and fingerpicking represent the foundation of my technical instruction. I teach the guitar with a focus on practical application for self-taught players, hobbyists, grade exam candidates, kids, and advanced learners. Improvisation and soloing are just as important as reading tabs or understanding blues progressions.
My 18 years of experience allow me to simplify scales and modes for any skill level. Teaching rhythm guitar is where I see the most growth. I love watching students find their own sound through songwriting. It is a joy to share these traditions with you.
